The trusted SAFY Group has been providing motoring excellence to the South African public for more than 30 years. During this time, we have converted several vehicles to armoured protected vehicles, but in 2021, due to increased demand, we established a separate business division to further specialise in armoured vehicles.

A substantial investment was made into the production facilities, the human intelligence and skills required, and a vast amount of stock was secured for conversion. These converted armoured vehicles retain their OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) appearance, thus maintaining their value and disguising their unprecedented protection qualities.

Ballistic resistance for hand guns viz. 9mm to .45 Magnum

All doors are armoured with 11mm aramid (Kevlar) panels
All the glass is 17mm thick ballistic glass
The rear panel (behind rear seat) is armoured with 3mm level B4 ballistic steel
Only front door windows operational (opens to 200mm)
Excellent smash and grab protection
